Along with lancework, fire sculpture is the most direct and literal of communicating a specific image, design, corporate logo or message to an audience at a fireworks event, pyrotechnics display or fire show. Fire sculptures – which are sometimes known as fire writing or fire drawing – are always custom-built, so please contact us to discuss what you want to achieve and we will advise on how best to achieve it: whether it’s a beautiful but simple star for a Christmas event, a giant sun for a solstice event or a corporate logo that you want to create in fire. They are also non-projectile so can be used in comparative close proximity to the audience, although we will recommend a certain distance to the public both for safety and comfort of the audience, as fire sculptures create heat, smoke and odour while they burn.
Fire sculptures generally burn for 5-10 minutes (depending on the thickness the material used and the weather conditions) and can also be crafted to burn with a coloured flame by mixing the appropriate metal additive with the fuel: please contact us to discuss this, as some venues are unsuitable for coloured fire sculpture. If you already hold a fireworks display or pyrotechnics event then adding a fire sculpture can make a great innovative addition to the event, whether it’s a small scale “Good Night” or a large sponsors logo flown from a crane.
