Bonfires and Bonfire Pyrotechnics by Alchemy Fireworks
For millennia man has built and gathered around fires, gazed into their flickering flames and warmed the body and the spirit. Bonfires are still a popular focal point for many a traditional community event: the obvious occasion for which bonfires are built in the UK is November 5th, but this is by no means the only such pyro-centric celebration. The cultural history of solstices and martyrs, evil spirits and purification is long and fabulous, but it all goes to show that a good bonfire, whether it's an elaborate sculptural design or a simple natural construction, can play a huge part in bringing people together and making them feel better.
Alchemy Fireworks works with bonfires in several ways, from creating sculptural bonfires from scratch for special events such as festivals, or simply add pyrotechnic animation to a traditional bonfire at an existing fireworks display event. These latter "Bonfire Pyrotechnics " effects can range from from a simple scene of crackers, flares and gerbs, to more complicated sequences with rainbow coloured bengals, waterfalls and single shot roman candles and mines around the base of the bonfire.
