Firework Selection and Firework Display Design
In the same way that the best meals require the best ingredients, the best firework displays require the best fireworks. We shop around, buying from many UK based suppliers who in turn each buy from dozens of international suppliers. If a firework is worth having, we have it. Throughout our website you'll find photos of some of our previous shows. Some are classics, but many are brand new innovative effects that have been designed exclusively for Alchemy Fireworks, and remember that these photos are only a selection of the huge fireworks range that we use!
However, being able to pick and choose the best fireworks for a display is only part of the job. Attention to display design and our skill at choreographing fireworks to music is what sets us apart. We design striking high impact sequences that are powerful without being messy. We create atmospheric slower sequences that are graceful without being weak. We engage the audience at the start of the display, and take them on a rollercoaster journey with us. Our success in this depends on careful consideration of the audience, the venue and the event: we ask questions, consider the options and create an impact.
Most importantly of all we listen to you. We listen to your brief: your needs, hopes and aims for the display, and the event as a whole (or ask questions if you don’t have a brief in mind). We make the effort to consider the options, make suggestions and guide you to the show that will create the effect you want. For example, how does the display work in the context of the rest of the event? What are we trying to achieve - something different, something traditional, or a combination? How can we develop the display from previous events? Is noise an issue? Is there a colour scheme for your wedding fireworks? How about a Best of British soundtrack for your seaside festival fireworks?
We also try to find out as much as we can about the audience, because they are the people who we entertain and inspire with our displays: they are the people we want to relate to the show. We beliebe that firewoek displays are about people, so the audience play an important part in the experience. That’s one reason why you see them in many of our photos. And why wherever possible we try to cue shows from the audience’s side of the barriers: that way we get a better feeling for how they respond and relate to different fireworks and different sequences in the display.
What’s more, because the same person who conducts the site visit will design the show and fire it there is continuity in the creative vision - and a better end result, wheteher it's a major public celebration, corporate launch event, exclusive private party or wedding firework display.
